PURPLE REIGN, as Springville swept all divisions of the St. Clair County Basketball Tournament. Springville High School Boys and Girls, JV Boys and Girls, 9th and 7th grade boys and girls teams all won the Tournament. Congratulations!
Davis Lake Fire Department will hold a Spaghetti Lunch, Sunday, February 11 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Springville Presbyterian Church has been undergoing a restoration. The church is one of the oldest churches in the area. Donations to fund the restoration can be made to the Springville Presbyterian Church Foundation at P.O. Box 429, Springville, AL 35146.

Springville Police Department is presenting a Firearms Safety course which is open to the public. The course includes 2 hour classroom training and 2 hours actual training on the firing range by two certified NRA instructors. You may sign up by calling Lauri Jones at 205-467-6133. From the St Clair County EMA: Road Closure at Muckleroy Creek Bridge. AL State Hwy 11 from Whitney Junction/AL Hwy 231 to State Route 23, Springville to close to thru traffic on Monday, December 12 for bridge work. Alternate Route: I-59. Local traffic can utilize Huff Lane to Crawford Cove to State Rd 23 and also Pinedale Rd to 23. Timeline: More than 1 year. This notice is provided from the Alabama Department of Transportation.
The Springville Civil Air Patrol meets every Tuesday from 6pm – 8:30 p.m. at the National Guard Armory. The age requirement is 12-18 years of age and adults may also join as senior members. Cadets learn leadership skills, aerospace, character development, as well as team work. Cadets also learn piloting skills.
