Pell City High School 2019 graduates received over $5 million in scholarships this year.
Congratulations to Abby Minor, Valedictorian for Pell City High School 2019. She will be attending Auburn University in the fall and received the following scholarships: Alumni Scholarship – Auburn University, Spirit of Auburn Scholarship – Auburn University, Pell City Business and Professional Women, Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union, PCHS SGA Scholarship, Pell City Business and Professional Women Scholarship, and the Pell City Rotary Club Paul Turner Scholarship! Abby Minor is the daughter of Judge Robert Minor and Coosa Valley Elementary School Librarian Christy Minor. Abby is following in her mom and dad’s footsteps and attending Auburn University in the Fall.
Congratulations to Joelle Woggerman, Salutatorian for Pell City High School Class of 2019. She will be attending Auburn University in the fall. She received the following scholarships: Pell City Business and Professional Women Scholarship, New York University Tandon Scholarship, Spirit of Auburn Presidential Scholarship.
Congratulations to PCHS senior, Mary Denman Luker will be playing basketball and attending the University of West Florida in the fall where she received a basketball scholarship. She also received the Dan Merryman Scholarship.
