5 arrested on felony drug warrants

Five people were arrested Friday during a felony drug warrant round up.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic’s Division and the St. Clair County SWAT team worked together to serve the warrants in various parts of the county.
Those arrested include:
Demario Payne, 27, of Margaret, three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked in to the St. Clair County jail in Ashville and bonded on a $91,000 bond.
Corey McIntyre, 27, of Margaret, felony warrants for three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was booked in to the St. Clair County jail in Ashville and bonded on a $91,000 bond.
Taryn Bowlen, 24, of Pell City, felony warrants with one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana first-degree and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked in to the St. Clair County jail in Pell City and bonded on a $5,500 bond.
Lee Turner, 40, of Ashville, felony warrants for failure to appear trafficking spice, failure to appear for unlawful possession drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He is in the St Clair County jail in Ashville with a court date of March 22.

The suspects are due back in court in April.
