The Big Canoe Creek Nature Preserve will host the 2nd Youth Turkey Calling Expo Saturday, March 8, to teach participants about turkey life cycles, tracking and hunting tactics with Hands-on turkey calling techniques and giveaways for participants. The program is for all ages and starts at 9 a.m. at no charge. Pre-Registration opens for Alabama’s First Class Pre-K for the 2025-2026 school year. Visit children.alabama.gov for more information.
