The American Legion Post 205 named Springville Police Officer, SGT Steve Wilson as the American Legion Post 205 Officer of the Year for 2024.

The Springville Wrestling Team won the AHSAA Regional Championship for the first time in the program’s history on Saturday, Jan. 4. Springville will host the state quarterfinals at home on Jan. 18.

Local Springville resident Grady Galloway spotted a rare American Bald Eagle beauty flying down highway 11 in the 11600 block Jan. 3, which he shared to social media. 

The new Pickleball courts at Big Springs Park were fenced on Jan. 3, and the second court will be soon completed. The 2024 Run4thParks 5K raised most of the money for the new courts.

The Springville Senior Center will offer an Easter Craft Show on Friday, March 29, 2025, from 8 a.m.-2p.m. at the Senior Center.
