Engagement: Dutton-Kendrick

- Kathryn Brook Dutton is engaged to Jerry Dale Kendrick.
Mr. and Mrs. Johnny G. Dutton of Leeds announce the engagement of their daughter Kathryn Brooke to Jerry Dale Kendrick.
Miss Dutton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Talmadge Pool and the Late Mr. and Mrs. John M. Dutton, Jr., all of Leeds. She is a 2004 graduate of Leeds High School. The bride-elect graduated cum laude from The University of Alabama with a degree in Health Care Management. While at the University Miss Dutton was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority and served as co-chair of the philanthropy committee. She is employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.
Mr. Kendrick is the son of the late Jerry Dale Kendrick, Sr. and Mrs. Donnette Kendrick of Birmingham. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Faucett, Sr. and Mrs. Jackson Kendrick, Sr., all of Birmingham. Mr. Kendrick is a 1997 graduate of Erwin High School. The future groom graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a degree in Business Management. He is employed as a territory sales manager with Community Coffee.
The wedding is planned for August 25 at Leeds First United Methodist Church.
