St. Clair County crash claims life of Gadsden woman

A single-vehicle crash, occurring at approximately 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, claimed the life of a Gadsden woman, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Angela Palmer, 50, was killed when the 1998 Toyota Tacoma that she was driving left the roadway, overturned, struck a tree and caught fire.

Palmer was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on U.S. 231 near Hoffman Lane, approximately five miles south of the Ashville city limits, in St. Clair County.
