The Springville Library hosted a homeschool breakfast Wednesday, Sept. 4.
School board members, SMS staff, county leaders and city leaders held a groundbreaking ceremony Sept. 4, for the new middle school that began construction in August 2024. SMS student council officers lead the ceremony and the SHS tiger chorale performed the alma mater.
Springville High School peer helpers and counselors hosted a “NEW to SHS” student luncheon for new students Thursday, Sept. 5.
The 2016 Boys Purple SYSA Storm Academy Team were named the U9 Liberty Cup Champions Sunday, Aug. 25 at the Sicard Hollow Athletic Complex.
The Baby Steps Memorial Run 5k and Fun Run will take place Sept. 14, at Homestead Hollow in Springville with all proceeds benefiting The Amelia Center at Children’s of Alabama. Register at runsignup.com/Race/AL/Springville/babystepsal
