St. Clair County High School awarded $5K for football program

Friday, Sept. 6, St. Clair County High School was notified it is one of 50 high schools across the country to receive $5,000 as part of T-Mobile’s recently launched “T-Mobile Friday Night 5G Lights.”
The $5,000 award will help support St. Clair County High School’s football program. The school can use the money towards items such as new equipment, sports gear or to cover transportation expenses.
The Friday Night 5G Lights program will also give one small-town school, like St. Clair County High School, a chance to win $2 million grand prize football field technology makeover. In addition, 16 finalists will each receive $25,000 and 300 schools will each receive $5,000 throughout the competition’s entry period to support high school football programs nationwide.
St. Clair County High School is still in the competition to receive the ultimate grand prize.
