Springville Parks and Recreation hosted the 3rd Annual Run4theParks Aug. 17 at Big Springs Park. The event was sponsored byTurner Motor Company and various other sponsors which raised money to build a new Pickleball Court. The Miss SpringFest Pageant queens awarded the race winners.

Beta Club members from Springville High School volunteered to serve at the Argo Food Bank Saturday, Aug. 17.

One Eighty Church donated boxes of school supplies to Springville Elementary on Aug. 23.

The Baby Steps Memorial Run 5k and Fun Run will take place on Sept. 14 at Homestead Hollow in Springville with all proceeds benefiting The Amelia Center at Children’s of Alabama. Register at runsignup.com/Race/AL/Springville/babystepsal
