Those of you looking for plans this weekend have many opportunities in St. Clair County.
Lala’s is having a wine tasting Saturday from 5-9 p.m. Taste six different wines. Have a glass of your favorite. Enjoy one of the appetizers and all for $29.99. take home a bottle and get a discount. There will also be an additional discount for teachers.
Not ready to go home yet? Head to Pell City. Me casita Mexican restaurant is having karaoke beginning at 6:30 p.m.
For the outdoorsy types, there is the Ashville bulldog fishing team bass tournament Saturday. The cost to enter is $100 per boat. The rules: Only three to a boat allowed, 18 and older. Classes at the Little Art Tree will begin Aug. 6. Cost is $100 a month.
The senior citizen center is offering exercise classes for everyone 60 and older. Classes begin Monday at 9:30 a.m. At 10 a.m., enjoy line dancing lessons. For more information, call 205-594-7666.
