With registration and admission deadlines looming, it can be overwhelming when choosing where to continue one’s education.
Established in 1965 as one of the first to ready students for the then emerging computer age, Herzing University has recently been named a certified Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE).
As a WBE that means Herzing University is a business owned and regulated by a woman or group of women.
The National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC) is among the first national certifier of WBEs who set up the standards and procedures of the certification review.
“The NWBOC certification as a Woman-owned Business is an important step in our work with organizations that not only value continuing education for their employees but also value diversity across their organizations, including supplier diversity,” said Renée Herzing, president and owner of Herzing University.
Providing St. Clair County students and its neighboring areas with opportunities to earn associates, bachelors and master degrees, Herzing also offers continuing education credentials.
Receiving regional accreditation, it is said that Herzing University is believed to be the only woman-owned accredited university in America.
Dedicated to its mission, “to provide high quality graduate and undergraduate degree and diploma programs that are designed to prepare a diverse student population to meet the needs of employers in technology, business, healthcare, graphic design, and public safety,” Herzing University looks forward to welcoming new students to its classrooms this fall.
