• New Hope Baptist Church Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 28 from 4-6 p.m.

• The Pentecostals of Pell City Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 28 from 2-5 p.m.

• Rushing Springs Baptist Church Harvest Festival Sunday, Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. Music, food, games, friendly costumes and Trunk or Treat competition.

• Join Victory Church on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 6-8 p.m. for candy, games and characters from your favorite movies and shows.

• Seddon Baptist Church will hold an event on Oct. 31 at 6:30 p.m.

• Trick-or-Treat all day at the Pell City Library Oct. 31. Crafts and games from 4-6 p.m. Halloween Bingo at 4 p.m.; Spooky Story Time at 5 p.m., costume contest at 5:45 p.m. Decorate a free Halloween bucket.

Sports: PCHS Varsity Football game originally scheduled for Oct. 27 against Pinson Valley has been changed to Thursday, Oct. 26.

Local: Bring the kids out for a fun time at Pell City’s Lakeside Park (Pavilion 2) on Saturday, Oct. 28 starting at 4 p.m. Kids coloring contest from 4-4:50 p.m. and costume contest at 5-6 p.m. Kids coloring contest (Age categories: 0-3, 4-6, 7-10, 11-13) 4 p.m. First place winners from each age category will receive $25 gift card, picture on event page and candy! Second and 3rd Place winners receive award, picture on event page and candy filled bucket! Costume contest at 5 p.m. Get to Pavilion 2 a little before 5 p.m. to have enough time to enter costume contest and get number pinned on for lineup.

Prizes, Trivia & More: Terry Turner will be performing at The Ark on Oct. 28 5-7 p.m. The cost is $40 per person, which covers the cost of the show and $20 meal. Limited seating, so make your reservations early at tcbshows.com. Special guest will be Nashville artist Bart Connell.

Everyone is invited to a chili supper Sunday, Oct. 29 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Evening Star Baptist Church (Logan Martin Dam Road) Fellowship Hall. Chili and hot dogs and free candy for the kids.

Pell City Chamber of Commerce will have its Lunch and Learn Thursday, Nov. 2 from 12-1 p.m. Guest speaker will be Austin Goble, MPA, Director, REACH Women’s Business Center, The Catalyst Center for Business and Entrepreneurship.

Do not throw away old blankets, sheets and bath towels. The Pell City Animal Shelter can use these.
