17 arrested in St. Clair County warrant round up

The St. Clair County Jail is a bit more full after a felony warrant round up led to the arrest of 17 individuals on a variety of charges. 

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, assisted by St. Clair County S.W.A.T. team, conducted several felony drug arrests on July 25 and 26.

A search warrant was executed in Leeds. Trafficking weight marijuana was seized and resident Michael Holderfield, 63, was arrested and charged with trafficking and three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. Holderfield is being held on a $1,591,000 bond.

The felony drug warrant round up continued with multiple arrests at various locations in St. Clair County. Seventeen suspects were taken into custody. During the roundup, new felony drug cases were made as well for possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.

Moody Police Department also assisted in the arrests.

The following individuals were arrested and taken to the St. Clair County Jail.

Michael Holderfield, 63, of Leeds charged with three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and trafficking. He is being held on $1,591,000 bond.  

Logan Rowe, 18, of Ashville was arrested and charged with four counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and has a $120,000 bond.

Margaret Babin, 56, of Leeds was charged with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and has a $60,000 bond. 

Mary Harrison. 48, of Ashville. arrested on one count of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd degree and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She has a $21,000 bond.

Steven Payne, 28, of Ashville was arrested and charged with three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and has a $60,000 bond.

Courtney Ackerson, 22, of Ashville was arrested on two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a controlled substance crime. She has a $60,000 bond.

                                                                                                                  Jeffrey Howard, 40, of Ashville was arrested for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and released on $20,000 bond. 

Timothy Stone, 44, of Ashville. was arrested for failure to appear on unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and escape in first degree charges. No bond was set.

James Perry, 39, of Ashville was arrested and charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and has a $20,000 bond.

Earnest Mostella, 60 of Ashville, was arrested for failure to appear on unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance charges.  After his initial court appearance, he bonded out on $411.

                                                                                                            James Bagley, 24, of Pell City was arrested on two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and was released on $10,000 bond.

Melinda Thomas, 47, of Moody, was arrested for incest and released on $10,000 bond. 

Kenneth Baldwin, 41, of Pell City  was arrested for Theft of Property 1st Degree and released on $5,000 bond.

Tobi Ashby, 29, of Leeds was arrested for failure to appeare on unlawful possession of a controlled substance charges. No bond was set.

Scott Moore, 54, of Moody, was arrested on three counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and is being held on $75,000 bond.

Samuel Partridge, 40, of Moody, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance and has a $2500 bond.

Lonnie Isaac, 28, of Ashville, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He has a $3000 bond.
