Congratulations to 4th grade teacher Summer Bowlin for receiving the Steele Teacher of the Month award. 

Bowlin has taught for 12 years, all at the Steele School.  A Jacksonville State graduate, she is married to Matt Bowlin and has two daughters, Addison and Ansley.  When asked about her hobbies, a student remarked, “grading papers”. 

Steele Mayor Roger Adams  presented Bowlin with $50 award to be used for school supplies.
