Fashion, fundraising and fall were the focus of the Leeds Arts Council (LAC) Fashion Show.
A bi-annual buffet of the latest trends took center stage at the LAC’s Theatre and Art Center with looks from The Outlet Shops of Grand River in the spotlight.
Talbots, Banana Republic, DressBarn, Chico’s, Jones of New York, Justice and Gap made the models look marvelous as they took to the runway.
Lunch from local Leeds eatery, Laney’s was provided as the ladies in the crowd enjoyed chicken salad, pasta salad and fresh fruits.
LAC members along with those involved in the community served as models.
Edna Felton with Alabama Power was picture perfect in outfits from Chico’s and DressBarn.
Miss Leeds Area Outstanding Teen 2014 Mary Grace Long worked the runway with her winning smile and her best bedazzled accessory—her crown.
Decked out in Banana Republic’s “Desk to Dinner” collection, Mary Grace along with Whitney Hall, Courtney Howard and Julie Ferrell of Curves sported “Banana’s” versatile trends that show they know their customer and are ready to offer them the must-haves for fall.
Friend of Pam Ayres, LAC Office Administrator, Jeams Cowser sported an executive look from Jones of New York that can transition from the boardroom to the ballroom and places in between.
Former LAC president and current member Doris Jarvis along with member Debbie Landry were visions as the Talbots twins.
Sisters Laney and Lilia Martinez were are dolled up in their fashions from Justice and Gap and ready to rock the school hallways like a Parisian runway.
