The St. Clair County Conservation District, St. Clair County Department of Public Health, St. Clair County Extension Office, and the Coosa Valley Resource Conservation and Development Council are pleased to announce that they will be hosting a free educational workshop for the septic tank system pump-out program.
This free educational workshop will be held twice and is open to residents of St. Clair County who utilize a household septic tank system. Upon completion of the workshop, which will last about 1 hour, residents will receive a $250 voucher to use toward a septic tank system being pumped out. Workshops for St. Clair County residents will be held in Pell City on March 21 at the Pell City Civic Center and March 28 at the ALFA Farmer’s Federation Building in Ashville. Each workshop will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will last approximately one hour.
The St. Clair County Conservation District was able to secure a grant from the Coosa Valley Resource Conservation and Development Council. With this grant, the District will be able to give out 40 vouchers in the amount of $250.00. You must pre-register to be guaranteed a seat at the workshop, which is on a first come, first serve basis. Please call the St. Clair County Conservation District to pre-register for the workshop (205) 338-7215.
