Elizabeth Josephine “Jo” Arant, age 71, of Ashville, Alabama, passed away on April 25, 2013.

Services for Mrs. Arant were held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Pine Forest Baptist Church.

Mrs. Arant is preceded in death by her son, Robby Porter, brother, Jimmy Hale, mother, Arvina Parker Hall, Grandparents, Mary and Daniel James Dennim, Elizabeth Dennim, Margaret and Tall Dennim, Ider Dennim, Leslie and Ider Parker.  

She is survived by her husband, Franklin Arant, daughters, Angelia Bailey and her husband Jason, Gina Hurst and her husband Chris, brother, Harold Hall and his wife Thelma, Grandchildren, Michael Porter (Amanda), Kody Salzer, Kohl Salzer, Julie Hurst, Quinn Hurst and Robin Moody, eight great-grandchildren, stepchildren, Stephanie White (Evon), Stephen Arant, Alex Arant, seven step grandchildren, brother-in-law, Roy Arant, Junior Arant, sister-in-law, Gail Johnson, Aunt, Ruth Brasher, and two uncles.
