Gladys Golden, age 73 of Springville, AL., passed away on April 23, 2016. Mrs. Golden was a member of the Mt. Beulah Holiness Church and enjoyed going to Church and singing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved getting dressed up and being pampered. 

Preceding her in death were her parents Joe and Velma Phillips Lesley; husband John Lewis Golden, daughters Lisa and Tina Golden; grandchildren Zachary Overton, Destiny Wood and Isaiah Mostella; great grandchildren Matthew And Scott Whisenhunt; sister Barbara Cummings; brothers Eugene, Richard and Donald Lesley; daughter-in-law Teresa Golden. 

Survivors include her daughters Judy Gable (Tommy) of Childersburg, Tammy Overton (Joey) of Odenville and Marcy Gonzalez (Juan) of Pell City; sons John Golden, Mark “Beaver ” Golden (Tina) all of Argo; Christopher Golden “Bitty Man” of Springville, 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sister Sue Lynn of Gallant and brother Johnny Franklin (Hazel) of Springville, AL. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Lemley Funeral Home from 5:30 until 8 PM and on Thursday from 8 AM until service time. 

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11 AM with Bro. Stephen Brian Casey officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Springville, AL. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Perrin, Jimmy Cummings, Payton Whisenhunt, Johnathan Oden, Blake Lucas, Mike Wood, William Lesley , Shane Swindall and Ferris Cummings. Lemley Funeral Home and Crematory directing.
