Lady Panther's playing in sub-regionals this week

Regionals for the AHSAA sub-regional girls basketball begin Feb. 15. The Panthers will face Fort Payne on the road, at 7 p.m. Both teams are in the Northeast Sub-Regional division, class 6A.

The Panther’s overall record is 22-6 for the season, with a 4-0 record in the region.

The winners advance to one of the regional tournaments, scheduled later this week. Teams that lose in the sub-regional games will be eliminated from the tournament.

After regionals, winning teams will advance to state, and the championship game will be played between those winners.
