Tara Tidwell of Moody High School has been nominated for the Jacksonville State University Teacher Hall of Fame.
Tidwell, who teaches eleventh grade Advanced Placement English and tenth grade English, was nominated by the St. Clair County Board of Education. She has been teaching at Moody High School for three years.
“She is very dedicated to educating her kids and getting them to look at literature in ways that they have never done before,” Moody High School Principal Cheryl Kuyk said. “She really challenges her kids to dig deep into their school work. After they’ve had her, they always come back and visit her, they just adore her.”
