Pell City – Merrel Bagwell, age 79, passed away Monday, May 2, 2016. Preceding him in death is his wife Fay Bagwell. He was the former owner of All-Rite Fence Company.

He is survived by his wife, Mary McCullough Bagwell; two sons, Roger (Linda) Bagwell and Mike (Neva) Bagwell; daughter, Becky McDonald; son/nephew, Jeff (Manami) Underwood; nine grandchildren, Dale Bagwell, Courtnee Bagwell, Scott Bagwell, Michael Bagwell, Devin Bagwell, Payton Underwood, Aiko Underwood, Michael Hale, and Synthia McDonald; 11 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ross Whitten.

Funeral service was held Saturday, May 7, 11 a.m., from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment followed at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
