Despite a solid start to the game last Friday by Ashville quarterback Judd Monday, who completed a touchdown pass (to Ryan Whisenhant) and scored on a touchdown run to keep the Bulldogs in the game late in the second half, Ohatchee running back Austin Tucker shredded Ashville’s front seven with 350 yards rushing and six touchdowns on the way to Ashville’s third straight loss this season after their week one victory. 

Week Five Preview vs. Montevallo (5-0)

Ashville faces another enormous challenge this week as former Alabama quarterback and current Montavello High School coach Andrew Zow brings his undefeated team to Ashville this Friday.

Montavello has outscored its opponents 184-64 midway through its season thanks to the amazing playmaking ability of #2 Senior Kerry Mack, who lines up at running back, wide receiver and even Wildcat quarterback in order to get his hands on the ball. Mack is backed up by regular playcaller #7 Junior QB Zac Oden, while the defense is led by a very aggressive and strong middle linebacker in #5 Senior Undraez Lilly.
