St Clair Red Cross holding special volunteer recruiting beginning today

St Clair Red Cross is holding a special volunteer recruiting period beginning today. “We are supporting the Statewide Disaster Response following the tornadoes on Friday,” said Christine Arnold, Community Executive Director for the American Red Cross in the Blount/St Clair area. “We would like to recruit potential Disaster Volunteers interested in training for responding to disasters.”

Positions needed include: Disaster Assessment, Sheltering, Mass Care, Emergency Response Vehicles, Disaster Health Services, Disaster Mental Health Services, Client Casework, Community Relations Liaison and Emergency Operations Liaison
