The Big Canoe Creek Nature Preserve hosted the 2nd Youth Turkey Calling Expo Saturday, March 8, teaching participants about turkey life cycles, tracking and hunting tactics with Hands-on turkey calling techniques with giveaways for participants.
The Springville choirs received Superior ratings for all of the high school ensembles and #1 ratings in sight reading categories at the at the Alabama Vocal Association’s State Choral Performance Assessment Competition at Riverchase UMC March 12.
Congratulations to the Springville High School student Simonetta Esparza for being elected to represent SHS at the UA Capstone Leadership Academy. This is a two-day program for high school sophomores designed to cultivate their leadership potential, honing skills around three essential pillars of leadership.
