SpringHill Suites Hotel to break ground in Leeds

A groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of construction on a new SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Leeds, will be Thursday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. The hotel will be developed and managed by Jackson Hospitality Services and will be located next to the existing Hampton Inn off Rex Lake Road.

In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors at the Hampton Inn located at 310 Rex Lake Road.

“We are thrilled to welcome SpringHill Suites to Leeds,” Leeds Mayor David Miller said. “This new hotel will be a significant addition to our growing community, offering a modern and comfortable stay option for visitors and business travelers. It will also create new jobs and contribute to the local economy.”

Cory Jackson Jr., President of Jackson Hospitality Services, expressed excitement about bringing the SpringHill Suites brand to Leeds.

“This hotel will offer guests a comfortable and convenient stay experience with all the amenities they need, including spacious suites, free breakfast and a fitness center,” Jackson said.

The SpringHill Suites Leeds is expected to open in 2026 and will feature 115 guest rooms and a full-service bar. The lobby décor will display a Formula One race car on loan from the neighboring Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.
