The SHS Student Council attended the Alabama High School District VI Student Council Convention at JSU Wednesday, Nov. 6. SHS served as the organizer.

The SHS Beta Club served throughout November with Argo Food Bank, Argo Fall Festival and bed making for the Sleep in Heavenly Peace organization.

Big Canoe Creek Nature Preserve staff member Jacob Tucker completed the TDS Trails Training Course Certification through Trail Master Oct. 31.

Springville’s Big Canoe Creek Nature Preserve had visitors Kelly and Tom Moon from Munford, Alabama to enjoy the horse trails on Nov. 1. 

The 3rd Springville Preservation Society’s Festival of Trees and Wreaths will be showcased inside the historic Springville Presbyterian church which is now more than 150 years old. The glow of Christmas lights is amazing in this beautiful gem that is the centerpiece of Springville’s historic district.
