Family: Some of my (Margaret’s) children gathered at my (Annette’s) home to celebrate birthdays a couple of weekends ago. On the weekend of July 5, Kayla Snow Byrd along with husband, Beaux and daughter, 18-month-old Hadley, visited with us. They live in Montevallo. We celebrated Kayla’s 24th birthday which was on July 8. On Sunday, July 7, Deborah (Vaughan) and Mike Turner, Laura (Vaughan) and Ricky Adams, joined us at my house to celebrate Deborah’s birthday (the 7th). We enjoyed lunch and of course, cake and ice cream.
School: Want to help our Pell City Schools? You can purchase annual t-shirts from or just donate to The Pell City Schools Educational Foundation. The foundation supports the Pell City School System primarily through funding educational grants submitted by the system’s educators. With support and donations from many local businesses and individuals within the community, the grants allow educators to provide for specific needs in their classrooms each year. As donations have continued, the Foundation has been able to provide for our school system and teachers, year after year. Last year, grants for teachers totaled more than $25,251.60. To purchase a unique annual t-shirt or donate, go to: pcsef.square.site. The shirts are really cute.
