Special anniversary wishes to my daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Tommy Snow. They celebrated 54 years on June 26. Also, happy 28th anniversary to Lynda and Ren Wheeler.

The Spotlight Kids Summer Drama Camp will be July 8–20, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Camp costs are $365 per student ($315 per additional student). Included in this cost are a daily snack and drink, camp t-shirt, and two vouchers to the show. Visit pellcitycepa.com/camp to sign up. The campers will present “Shrek, The Musical Jr.” on July 19, at 6 p.m. and July 20, at 2 p.m.

The splash pad is open six days a week. The hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m.-6 p.m. The pad is closed Mondays for maintenance. The cost is $4 each for anyone ages 3 and older getting on the pad. Cash and cards accepted. Swim diapers are required for the little ones, as accidents can force a shut down that lasts several hours.
The Farmer’s Market is open for the 2024 market season from 1-5 p.m. at its new location, in the Lakeside Park (Pell City Civic Center), 2801 Stemley Bridge Road. Look for the white tents near the boat launch.
