Restoration Academy students earn scholarships

The Trussville Rotary Daybreak Club has awarded $1,000 scholarships to two Restoration Academy students.
Valencia Reese is heading to the University of Texas San Antonio to pursue a business degree. Reese started a small business while attending RA. Reese was also active in cheerleading and SGA and was voted homecoming queen.
Nicholas “Nick” Dandy plans to attend Samford University to major in political science and Biblical studies. He said he has a desire to return to teach at RA. He served as a school ambassador and participated in several leadership opportunities while at RA. He also has been a consistent attendee at Fairfield City Council meetings.
