Springville to celebrate end of school May 23 with Summer Bash

Springville Parks and Recreation will host Summer Bash, Thursday, May 23 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Big Springs Park. Due to donors and sponsors, there will be free lemonade, popcorn, hot dogs, chips, bubbles, chalk, popsicles and a lot of freebies for students.
“Our goal is to celebrate the end of another great school year,” said Lucy Cleaver, Administrative Clerk for Springville Parks and Recreation.
The family friendly event celebrates the end of school. St. Clair County students will have a half-day on the last day of school. Along with tons of activities, the Splash Pad will be open to the public for free following this schedule: 11 a.m.-12 p.m. — PreK Hour at Splash Pad (Children 5 and younger only); 12-5 p.m. — open to all ages. At 12:30 p.m. there will be field games featuring: Tug of war, sack race and more.
