ALEA: 2-vehicle crash in St. Clair claims life of Birmingham woman

A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, claimed the life of a Birmingham woman, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Tamiyah L. R. Campbell, 26, was killed when the 2014 Lincoln MKS she was a passenger in was struck by a 2017 Ford F-250 driven by Gregory H. Blue, 22, of Pelham.
According to ALEA, Campbell was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lincoln was parked on the shoulder of the roadway at the time of the crash. After the initial impact, the Ford overturned. The driver of the Lincoln, Dominuque O. Rutledge, 31, of Birmingham, and Blue were both injured and transported to UAB Hospital.
The crash occurred on Interstate 20 near the 156 mile marker, approximately three miles west of Pell City, in St. Clair County. Nothing further is available as troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
