Congratulations to Dr. Gregory Moore of Springville High School for being named The Alabama Association of Secondary School Principals as the Principal of the Year on Jan. 26.

Springville Civil Air Patrol, Al-126 cadets from the squadron had the privilege of touring the Museum of Flight in Birmingham on Jan. 20. In addition to a great lesson of aircraft history, the cadets had the opportunity to climb in a Soviet attack helicopter and try out some simulators.

The Springville High School Choirs attended a workshop with the University of Montevallo Honor Choir and performed on Jan. 29.

Springville Elementary recognized the Peer Helpers that assisted with Book Fair on Jan. 30.
