The Ashville Girls Varsity team had an impressive victory. It was their first area win over Etowah. Way to to, Lady Dogs!
This Saturday is the fifth annual God is Bigger Bass Fishing Tournament. The fee is $110 per boat and includes breakfast, lunch, and a guaranteed cash prize.Weigh-in starts at 3 p.m. Competitors can register at the tournament. Those who register early will be entered to win a seven night stay at Seascape Resort in Miramar Florida in April 2023.

The Seascape Resort, like Ashville, is known for its small town atmosphere with big city amenities. It has “lush greenery, serene lakes and 2,000 feet of white sand beaches.” To register early, call Stacey at 256-966-7272.
Also this Saturday, The St. Clair Historical Society’s Genealogy Group will meet at the Museum of Archives Robert Debter, archive director, will speak about how St. Clair County got its name and how to use the resources at the archives to trace family history.
