Mt. Moriah Baptist church in Pell City will host a singing school July 10-15, Sunday through Friday, beginning at 6:30 each night. All ages are invited. More information will be given in this column next week.

Congratulations and happy anniversary to Glenn and Margaret Milam, who celebrate June 29!

Happy birthday to my great-granddaughter, Haley Kemp, June 13, Carl Jones, June 14, Ashlee McNutt, June 28, Kayla Mcnutt, June 22, and my granddaughters, Carrie Scott and Kecia Scott who both celebrate June 27! They are the daughters of my son, Carlos, and my late daughter-in-law, Karen Scott and my late son Randy Scott and Nobuko “Nina” Scott, respectively.

Our prayers and condolences are with the family of Mrs. Martha June Haisten Tillery, 80, of Coal City, who passed away June 11. She is survived by three sons and five grandchildren. Interment was in St. Clair Memorial Gardens in Coal City.
