Cadets with the Springville Civil Air Patrol AL-126 had the chance to fly out of the St Clair County Airport as part of their training.

Congrats to Springville Anglers Will and Caige on finishing strong at Neely Henry Lake in the Airport Marine High School Tournament on March 26th.

Congratulations to Nathan Baldwin and Tanner Oakes who competed in the Alabama BASS Nation Tournament on Weiss Lake and finished 7th out of 170 boats on May 1st.

Congratulations to Springville High School Tiger Band member Noah Boggan who was awarded a performing scholarship to attend and perform with the University of Alabama at Birmingham Blazer Band on May 2nd.

Congratulations to Springville High School Tiger Band Senior percussionist Blake Howard. He will be attending Troy University in the Fall and performing for a variety of ensembles, including The Sound of the South.

The Springville Police Department and the Springville Fire Department will host Springville Night Out on June 18th at Springville High School from 12p.m. until 5p.m. with a special guest appearance by Basmmaster Elite Pro Wes Logan. There will be free hot dogs, cotton candy and face painting.

The 2022 Springville Classic Golf Tournament benefiting Springville Middle School will be held May 14th at Cumberland Lakes Golf Course in Pinson, AL. St. Clair County Schools are accepting online pre-registration applications for the 2022-2023 school year First-Class Pre-K Classrooms. Please register for the school zone in which you reside. Applicants must turn 4 on or before September 1to be eligible for the next academic year. Prek.alaceed.alabama.gov
