Aleya Ember has signed to be on the dance line at Kings College. This outstanding dancer is also an outstanding student. She is graduating with a 4.3 overall GPA. We wish her continued success in her future endeavors.

The track and field team stook state by storm. Gold, silver and bronze medals were won. Every runner gave the usual stellar performance

State Senator Shay Shelnutt honored the AHS wrestling team by stopping by the high school to congratulate the wrestling team on another great season. That is a different kind of honor on the state

level. However, it is an honor indeed.

The St.Clair County Young Republicans are hosting their last event before the primary elections at the VFW in Springville May 19th at 6p.m. Lieutenant Governor Will Ainsworth will be the keynote speaker. State Senate District 11 candidate Lance Bell and District 39 representative, Craig Lipscomb will also be present. This is a catered affair and all our invited to, “Come break bread with us before the primaries on May 24th.
