All about Ashville 5-5-22

Congratulations to Emma Drinkard, Ashton Vann and Lydia Northam of Ashville High School for their performances at the track and field sectionals. Drinkard came in 1st in bot the 100m and the 200m dash. Vann placed second in the 800m dash. Northam took second in in 300m hurdles and set a new personal record.
This Saturday, The Boosters are hosting a banquet for the AHS band. All members, beginning through marching and their families are invited. It begins at 6p.m. at City Hall. The Boosters are providing hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks. They ask parents to bring a dessert to share. On Sunday, The Ashville Garden Club is having a plant sale in the parking lot of Ashville First Baptist Church.
On the 14th, The Artisan Market’s newest vendor, Cowboy Kitchen, will be at the square from 9-4. That evening, The Rugged Cross Cowboy Church will be hosting a bonfire for the youth. Hotdogs are on the menu and everyone is invited to attend.
Those looking for a productive way for their kids to spend their Summer days should look into classes at The Little Art Tree and quickly. Spots are going fast. On Memorial Day the Splash Pad opens and The Masonic Lodge will be selling Boston Butts.
There will be more information as these dates approach. However, Ashville should be prepared. Prepared for a calendar full of delights and diversions for all ages!
