Holy week Worship Services are being help April 11-15 at 12 p.m. at the Pell City First United Methodist Church. Lunch will follow, Maundy Thursday Service will be at the church on April 14 at 6 p.m. Good Friday service will be April 15 at the church at 6 p.m.

St. Clair Baptist Association will hold Holy Week services April 11-15, 7 p.m. at Cook Springs Baptist Church. “Worshipping the Risen Christ” is the theme. Everyone is invited to gather together to worship and be encouraged by the following speakers: Monday; Danny Courson, Associational Missions Strategist; Tuesday: Patrick Horne from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church; Wednesday: Pat Giles from Macedonia Baptist Church; Thursday: Thurman Henninger from Mt. Olive Baptist Church; Friday: Joe Karr from Cook Springs Baptist Church. Nursery is not provided

Mt. Moriah Baptist Church will have an Easter sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Breakfast will follow in the Howard Savage Fellowship Hall. Worship service will be held at 10 a.m. There will be no Sunday school. Everyone is invited.

Happy birthday to Jim King, April 12, my great-niece, Ashley Davison, and my young friend, Zoey Ekhator, who both celebrate April 16. My cousin and friend, Joanna Payne Brummett, April 18, my friend Laura Tollison Hartley and John Lucas Tollison, who both celebrate April 19, and my grandson Ben Scott, April 20!

Our prayers and condolences are with the family of Ralph Edward Brown, 70, of Coal City, who passed away March 24. He was the son of the late Ollie Ralph Brown and the late Susan Mae Crump Brown. Interment was in St. Clair Memorial Gardens in Coal City.
