There are 4 new press boxes, new paint and refinishing on all press boxes, dugouts, bathrooms, and concession stands, improved drainage on Field 2, new backstops, gravel and paving of parking lots.
The Springville Library now offers Small Group Preschool Story time at the library on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 12 p.m. Attendance will be limited, so be sure to reserve your space now. Stories will be the same on both days. Children will receive bagged take-home crafts. Snacks will not be provided at this time. Masks are required for adults and children over six with social distancing. Call the annex at 205-467-7261 to register.
Springville Pediatrics is hosting the 2nd Annual Fall Festival, Saturday, Oct. 31 at Big Springs Park from noon until 3PM.

The Splash Pad at Big Springs Park is open for the 2020 Season. Admission is $2 per person. Saturdays & Sundays 1PM – 5PM. The Splash Pad is closed for the the weekdays due to the Fall Schedule. Social distancing applies when not actively using the splash pad. The Springville Public Library is now open to the public by appointment, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m-12 p.m. Curbside service remains available, Monday-Friday, 1:30-4:30 p.m. Springville Library will also continue to provide “Mystery Bags” for patrons upon request. Call to make an appointment for browsing, limited computer usage, or curbside pickup.

The Springville Senior Center will be closed due to the COVID-19 Pandemic until further notice.
The Springville Preservation Society is taking reservations for use of the historic “Little House” located adjacent to the Police Department for events or meetings. Rates are $40 for two hours; $75 for four hours; and $125 per day. For reservations call Gayle Hammonds at 205-937-3071 or Paulette Kelly at 205-467-3971.
