The Margaret Lions Club is hosting a Community Blood Drive at Margaret Pharmacy Parking Lot Oct. 17 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. To schedule an appointment to visit life south.org or call 205-943-6000.

All donors will receive a Gift Certificate to Margaret Mexican Restaurant and Cafe 242, and a LifeSouth recognition item. Donors will also receive the COVID antibody test.

Appointments strongly encouraged; walk-ins welcome as social distancing guidelines allows. Our community in urgent need of donors due to increased hospital usage.

Donors must be 17 years-old or older or 16-year-old with parental permission, weigh at least 110 pounds and show a valid photo I.D.
