Unipres continues to invest in Steele

The St. Clair County Economic Development Council has announced that Unipres is expanding their production facility in Steele.
The approximate 6.3 million dollar expansion will bring 10 new jobs and follows the 2018 expansion that totaled 40 million and 70 jobs. The expansion will include major equipment purchases to meet new and increased demand from major OEM’s for upcoming models. Unipres Alabama has been a Tier One supplier to Honda Manufacturing of Alabama in Lincoln, and Honda’s East Liberty Plant in Ohio for many years.
