Hurtle to Help Missions raises money for Haiti

People gathered early Saturday morning to run or walk in the Hurtle to Help Missions, the Long Run for Haiti, 5k/10k.
This event was hosted by Eden Westside Baptist Church to raise money for Haiti Missions. The proceeds will help fund Vacation Bible School for over 300 children as well as other Haiti mission projects.
Many people prepared themselves for the run with a Couch 2 5k eight-week training course. The certified course drew a crowd and everyone had a great time.
Winners of the 5k included Overall Females 1st place Sadie Deason, 2nd place Caroline Pinson and 3rd Place Abby Little. 5k Overall Males included 1st place Matthew Silvera, 2nd place, Michael Schulte and 3rd place Adam Bradshaw.
10k Overall Females included 1st place Vickie Varnes, 2nd place Lenae Falcone and 3rd place Baily Gowers. 10k Overall Males included 1st place Jeff Clark, 2nd place Chris Cruthfield and 3rd place John Kelly.
