Barbara Mostella, author of  “Who Would Have Thought?” will be signing copies of her book at the Ashville City Council Chambers at 211 8th Street on Saturday, April 27 from 4 – 6 p.m.

“I chose this location because my life began here and I thank God for the people in the city of Ashville who help to shape who I have become today,” said Mostella.

Mostella received her degrees in science and computer science at the University of Alabama and in Agricultural and Mechanics at University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is retired from the Department of Defense where she served in many capacities, the last of which being Program Manager. She is now retired and living with her husband in Georgia.

Mostella’s book is steeped in the story of her life. It is a mystery that takes place in Alaska, Washington D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia. It has been called a “thriller in the extreme,” and “a real page turner.”

But there’s more than suspense and the old question, “whodunnit?” in “Who Would Have Thought?”   The ties that bind family are a prevalent theme as it centers around a law firm owned by four brothers. There’s even an element of romance. One of the brothers is searching for “the one” as he is growing older and racing his own biological clock.

Ashville is offering its citizens and anyone else who may be interested to meet this woman with a most interesting background, purchase her book, and get her signature on it.
