The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a call at 7:03 p.m. on April 11 for an unmanned boat in the Beaver Creek Area of the Coosa River. 

The vehicle registration led officers to search for Randy Wayne Henson, 56, of Rogersville, Ala.

After an extensive search, the body of Randy Henson was located in the water deceased.

“The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone who worked so diligently to find Mr. Henson and our thoughts and prayers are with his family in this very difficult time,” said Sheriff Billy Murray.
