- Girls Night Out
The 3rd Thursday Action Committee will be hosting a Girl’s Night Out in historic downtown Pell City on March 21 from 5-8 p.m.
“After a long week and dreary weather, a Girl’s Night Out will be just what you’re needing,” said Denise Olivastri, co-chair of the 3rd Thursday Action Committee. “Grab a friend and head to Cogswell Ave to shop, eat, drink, mingle, laugh and have fun. “
Participating businesses and restaurants will be offering one night only in store specials and activities. The first 40 ladies will receive free silk red rose, compliments of Pink Petal. Start the night off right by picking up your rose at Griffin Jewelers and picking up your Girl’s Night Out – Spin To Win Card!
Take the card to just five restaurants or businesses on Cogswell Ave and get it stamped at each one. Bring your completed stamped card back to Griffin Jewelers and Spin the Roulette Wheel to win a gift prize every time! One spin per person.
Artscape will be hosting a cheese and wine sampling, compliments of Bryant Vineyards in Talladega. This vineyard is Alabama’s oldest continually operating winery!
Head to Toast Sandwich Eatery and groove to the tunes of local artist and accomplished songstress, Julie Martin Funderburg as she performs inside the restaurant. Toast, El Cazador and Chicago Mike’s Hot Dogs will also be offering Happy Hour Menu Specials. Free Movie-time Popcorn will be available.
Licensed massage therapist Erika Skeivelas, owner of the Bodymechanic.pro, will be available at the Partners By Design giving free mini neck and shoulder massages in the body pro chair! Mini makeovers and Color Street Nail Party will be at Merle Norman Cosmetics.
Participating downtown Cogswell merchants will offer exclusive in store sale offers. Guess the price of the mannequin’s outfit that evening at Monkey Bizniss. One winner with the correct or closest answer without going over gets a Goodie Bag.
“We want you to forget your worries, kick off your heels and get your batteries recharged with a fun night out on the town!” said Olivastri.
Third Thursday is a business building initiative started by Greg Weber of Specialty Printing with Denise Olivastri and is part of the Heart of Pell City Downtown Revitalization effort that works closely with the Pell City Chamber of Commerce to help promote local businesses.
