Planned Lane Closure on I-59 NB, in St Clair County

- Lanes between the Ashville Exit (MP 166) and the St. Clair Springs Exit (MP 156) will be closing beginning Monday, Aug. 12.
Between the St. Clair Springs Exit (MP 156) and the Etowah County Line (MP 175)
St. Clair County – Beginning at 7 a.m., Monday, February 18, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close either the right or left lane of I-59 northbound at various locations forClearing andGrassing Operations between the St. Clair Springs exit (Milepost 156) and the Etowah County line (Milepost 175).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 4 p.m. on Monday.
These same lane closures will be in place from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, thru Saturday, February 23.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this construction operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
