Now that Halloween is over, its time to focus on the next big holiday….Thanksgiving. My entire family is coming to my house for Thanksgiving, every single one of them from out of state. We will have Alabama, Texas, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia all representing at the table. We have a four bedroom house with three of the four occupied because we haven’t made it to the empty nest status. (Somebody is getting kicked out of their room, but it won’t be me.) It will be close quarters for a few days but I couldn’t be more excited. I’m thinking a family nap in the living room just may happen.
Let’s get to the news.

A pat on the back to Odenville Police Department officers Rigby and Thompson for the capture of two suspects that were breaking into cars during the night in the Legacy subdivision, as well as the homeowner who called in suspicious activity in their driveway. The homeowner had surveillance cameras that helped identify the suspects. Chief Pardue has this to say: “All of you thugs coming from Jefferson County need to stay out of our city if you don’t want to go to jail.” Thank you OPD for keeping our town safe!
