Although MJ Miniature Glow Golf has been open for a year now in Pell City. The owners of the company recently incorporated a skating rink for their one year anniversary to “give the kids and teens something to do while there here.“

They cut the ribbon to celebrate the opening of the new skating rink on Saturday, Sept. 15 with the Pell City Chamber of Commerce.

When owners Meighan and Jessie Posey mentioned the new theatre in Pell City being constructed behind Walmart, they said it was a way for children to smoothly transition from watching movies to skating with friends and family.

“It’s an effort to build off other activities happening around Pell City,” they said. “That way kids will have more things to do around the area.” 

There are various activities at MJ Miniature Glow Golf, which isn’t exclusively for kids but adults too, like playing pool, card games and karaoke. Or if you want to simply relax, they have brand new massage chairs (only $2 dollars for six minutes). 

It’s a family environment and open to all ages. They also host a birthday parties or any type of event.

Coming up next is their annual Trunk or Treat and Adult Halloween Party held in October. The winner with the best costume will receive $100.
