Northside Health & Wellness is presenting a free series of health talks during its September Grand Finale, anchored by TV personality Brenda Ladun, who will speak on Breast Cancer Awareness and the importance of early detection on Sept. 7 at Northside Medical Home.

Ladun, a prime-time news anchor on Birmingham’s ABC 33-40 and an author, has offered hope and inspiration to scores of audiences by sharing her own experience as a two-time breast cancer survivor.

She will present her talk from noon to 1 p.m.

The health talk series continues on Sept. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. with Dr. Mo Mehra of Southeast Gastro presenting a program on the importance of Colon Cancer screening.

On Sept. 21, Alabama Oral Surgery will present from noon to 1 p.m. and on Sept. 28, the public is invited to attend a Health and Wellness Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with more than 20 vendors, door prizes and educational materials.
